Thank you for your interest in iruka. Now iruka is in the final stage of mass production at the factory for the first shipment.

When I was working for an Internet advertising company where I was one of the founding executives, one day I was obsessed with the idea of “Making My Own Best Folding Bicycle” so I started my company, iruka Inc., without any experience in the bicycle industry. At first, I thought it would take 2 to 3 years, but it was pretty naive. It took a lot longer than I thought, and took 10 years to develop (See Story page for details.).

I truly believe that a world where biking is considered cooler than riding a Mercedes would be slightly different, it is going to be better in many ways. Folding bike in particular, when combined with other forms of transportation, is the best vehicles that can cover the weaknesses of bicycles, such as long distance, steep climbing and bad weather.

My life entirely changed after I met a folding bike. I know it’s too much to build your own brand like I did, but why don’t you add new color to your life with a folding bike as your partner? And if you choose iruka as your partner, I couldn’t be happier.
