Jackknife frame with a huge slit
The jackknife frame, the most distinctive feature of iruka, gracefully carves twin symmetrical arcs. The rear wheel is stowed in the center slit, creating a compact and elegant folding design. Its high-rigidity structure, with no hinge on the top tube—the backbone of bicycles—strikes an exceptional balance between rideability and portability.

Telescopic single-arm front fork
The bold single-arm front fork on the left side with our original telescopic folding mechanism. When folded, the front wheel aligns parallel and coaxially with the rear wheel, enabling easy rolling transport.

Stand-integrated rear swing arm
When the rear wheel is folded, Iruka stands on its own as the caster at the front end of the rear frame acts as a stand. An elastomer suspension is mounted at the joint of the main frame, absorbing subtle vibrations during the ride.

Telescopic handle post and flat handlebar
We have drastically enhanced the rigidity around the base of the handlebar post—a common weak point in small-wheel bikes—using our proprietary telescopic folding mechanism. By attaching the iruCatch, it instantly becomes into a bag carrier. The height is adjustable, accommodating a wide range of positions. A flat handlebar is mounted, making it easier to adopt an aggressive riding posture.
Super-long-cage derailleur and 9-speed sprocket combination
iruka X uses a super-long-cage derailleur from L-TWOO, a rapidly growing component manufacturer founded by former SRAM engineers. It combines stable shifting with smooth folding while helping prevent chain trouble.
New asymmetric rear frame
To allow the chain to move freely across all nine gears, the right chainstay is offset 7 mm inward. A recessed section facing the tire provides sufficient tire clearance.
Small rotor disc brake
The mechanical disc brake paired with a 140mm small-diameter rotor delivers excellent braking performance and control, even in adverse weather conditions.

18-inch wheels equipped with 1.25-width tires
18-inch wheels achieve an outstanding balance between stability and agility. In Walk Mode, they transform into casters for effortless rolling. For iruka S, slim 1.25-width slick tires deliver a sharp and responsive ride.

Coupler pre-assembled
Coupler connects iruCarry and iruCart attachments and also supports iruka in an upright position during Sleep mode.
Rear Wheel Cover to Prevent Accidents During Transport
When lifting the bike in Sleep ｍode by holding the rear wheel, there is a risk of injuring your fingers if they get caught between the rear wheel and the frame. To prevent this, a wheel cover is installed to ensure that fingers cannot slip through.
