Jackknife frame with a huge slit
The jackknife frame, the most distinctive feature of iruka, gracefully carves twin symmetrical arcs. The rear wheel is stowed in the center slit, creating a compact and elegant folding design. Its high-rigidity structure, with no hinge on the top tube—the backbone of bicycles—strikes an exceptional balance between rideability and portability.

Telescopic single-arm front fork
The bold single-arm front fork on the left side with our original telescopic folding mechanism. When folded, the front wheel aligns parallel and coaxially with the rear wheel, enabling easy rolling transport.

Stand-integrated rear swing arm
When the rear wheel is folded, Iruka stands on its own as the caster at the front end of the rear frame acts as a stand. An elastomer suspension is mounted at the joint of the main frame, absorbing subtle vibrations during the ride.

Telescopic handle post and riser handlebar
We have drastically enhanced the rigidity around the base of the handlebar post—a common weak point in small-wheel bikes—using our proprietary telescopic folding mechanism. By attaching the iruCatch, it instantly becomes into a bag carrier. The height is adjustable, accommodating a wide range of positions. A riser handlebar is mounted, making it easier to adopt an relaxed riding posture.
Equipped with Shimano's latest internal gear hub Nexus Inter 5
The internal gear hub provides high durability, low maintenance, and the ability to shift gears even while stationary. For Iruka C, Shimano's latest innovation, the Nexus Inter 5, is installed, offering a wide gear range of 263% and drastically improved shifting performance under high torque conditions.
Small rotor disc brake
The mechanical disc brake paired with a 140mm small-diameter rotor delivers excellent braking performance and control, even in adverse weather conditions.

Original chain tensioner
The original chain tensioner keeps the chain at proper tension while riding, and retracts slack during folding to prevent the chain from coming off.

Rear Wheel Cover to Prevent Accidents During Transport
When lifting the bike in Sleep ｍode by holding the rear wheel, there is a risk of injuring your fingers if they get caught between the rear wheel and the frame. To prevent this, a wheel cover is installed to ensure that fingers cannot slip through.
